Computer Systems Upgrade – Updated 02/20/2018

Montana Health is in the process of switching over our computer systems.  What does this mean?  Better online banking, better mobile banking, chips cards — lots of better everything.  Change always brings disruptions — we are going to do our best to keep those to a minimum though.  Stay tuned here and on our Facebook page for updates.

  • Audio Banking
    • Get balances, make transfers or issue yourself a check with a phone call
      • Phone number is 1 800 778-1627
      • Will need your account number and last four of your SSN for your first log-in, will be required to change your pin on that first call
      • The audio banking number on our local number will be working by Friday the 23rd.
  • Online Banking
    • View balances, make transfers, pay bills, order checks and more on your pc
      • New and improved online banking platform
      • First time instructions:
        • Log on from our website montanahealthfcu.org
          • Type your account number in the box that says “Account Access” on the left hand side
          • You will be asked for a security code.  This will initially be the last four digits of your social security number.
          • You will then be asked to establish a new security code.  This code needs to be between 8 and 16 characters and needs to contain alpha and numeric characters
          • You will then be required to establish 3 security questions from the available list
          • You will be asked to provide a security phrase.  This will be a personalized phrase/word that you will see when you first log-on to our site, so you know the site is truly our site
          • The site will ask you to update your demographic information
          • The site will then ask you to establish your account order – most people put their checking account first, but you can arrange however you like
          • You are now ready to go!

          • To set up view or transfers to other accounts you have at the credit union, please call the credit union or e-mail us at info@montanahealthfcu.org
        • Establish your options
          • On the Self Service
            • Set up your eStatements
            • Set up your e-Notices
            • Set up your e-Alerts
            • Set up your Mobiliti mobile banking
        • Credit Sense
          • A FREE credit monitoring program attached to your online banking program will be rolled out on March 1st, 2018
        • User Name Change
          • In March, 2018 if you are still using your account number as your log-on ID, you will be required for security purposes to change to something more secure
  • Bill Pay
    • Pay all your bills online
      • You will need to re-set up your bills on the new system
        • Click the Bill Pay tab from inside your online banking tab
        • Use the Search Our Network feature to find out your creditor
        • Fill in your account information, including any nickname you want for the account
        • Indicate the dollar amount and delivery date you want for the bill
        • Click to make the payment!
        • The bill will now move to the Payment Center for you to use in the future
        • From the Payment Center you can always add a new company or person
          • If the company is not on the electronic list, you can still have us send a check to them from the website.  Try searching electronically first, but if it doesn’t appear, click Add a person or company
          • Click Other Company
          • Enter the information from your creditor’s statement
          • If you know a person’s bank account information, you can enter it here to make payments to them
        • Pop Money
          • If you don’t know a person’s bank account information, you can still send money to them using Pop Money, our new PTP feature
          • Click the Pop Money tab from inside Bill Pay
          • Read and accept the terms, the click Activate
          • Enter your payee: you just need to know their name and e-mail address or cell phone number
          • Follow the instructions on the screen to send.
  • Mobile App
    • View balances, make transfers, pay bills, order checks and more on your pc
      • Instructions for first time log-in
        • Complete the steps above for Online Banking.  You must setup online banking first before mobile banking will work.  If you do not have a pc, you can complete the steps from your browser on your phone
        • Delete your old MHFCU mobile banking from your phone
        • Download our new app from your app store: search for Touch Banking
        • The app will ask for bank code.  The code is montanafcu
        • Enter your log-in credentials
        • You should be on!
      • Mobile Features
        • Touch ID: if your phone has this feature, you should be able to log in with your fingerprint
        • Mobile Deposit
          • The mobile deposit feature on our new mobile app should be available soon.
        • Bill Pay
          • You can use your phone to make bill payments you have set up on your pc
        • Pop Money
          • You can pay a person by just knowing their cell phone number or e-mail address
        • Instant Balance
          • If you set up this feature, you can view your balances on your phone without even having to log-in
        • Card Valet Integration
          • The card valet option will be integrated with the mobile app in 2019
        • Branded App
          • The application will say “MHFCU” instead of “Touch Banking” making it easier to find on your phone (June 2018)
  • Card Valet
    • An application that lets you turn your debit card on and off and track your debit card purchases is available for free
      • Download from your app store.  The app will walk you through the process of getting your card quickly registered.
  • EMV Debit Cards
    • EMV debit cards will start being issued by the fall of 2018
  • Make Cents
    • The Make Cents saving program ended on January 31st, 2018
  • Visa Rewards Program
    • Earn points with your visa credit card purchases you can use to buy merchandise from our catalogue
      • The current program has been grandfathered out.
      • The new program will be rolled out in August 2018
  • ATM Deposit
    • The deposit feature on our ATM is being upgraded to talk to our new system.  The ATM is doing withdrawals now and will be available for deposits by March 1st
